Description

Regulations:
New and expanded regulations are affecting energy producers. For example, Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) owners and inspectors face new legislation in Texas with SB 900, and repercussions will no doubt affect the industry as a whole. What can oil & gas, renewable energy and other industrial asset owners do to thrive in the new regulatory environment?

Resignations:
The “Great Crew Change” is in full swing, with more and more industry veterans retiring and taking their hard-won institutional knowledge with them. New inspectors will soon (or already) lack mentors to teach them the ins-and-outs of inspecting industrial assets. How can companies leverage new technologies to help smooth this transition, all while keeping their operations safe and effective?

Robots:
New technologies are creating more data than ever before while offering new inspection strategies unavailable to previous generations. In-service inspections, non-destructive testing and other tools (such as robots) are changing the game forever. How can companies ensure they are fully leveraging these new technologies to receive maximum ROI, safety and efficiency?
