McDermott has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles with technology and utility companies. She has extensive experience in working with electric and telecommunications utilities, having held roles in operations, product, sales, and regulatory compliance. She is responsible for leading Sharper Shapes sales activities and customer development in North America. McDermott holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
