Description

The industry has been responding to the output of various methane detection & quantification technologies on behalf of oil & gas producers, including Satellite, Fixed Wing, Drone & Continuous Monitoring Sensors. GreenPath’s boots on the ground response enables technologies by providing last mile service and root cause analysis for producers to understand 1) Why the emission occurred 2) Volume of emission(s) 3) What are the options for mitigation.

This ground response and mitigation approaches to each detection / measurement technology is different due to 1) Temporal aspects of emissions 2) Sources that are non-regulated vs regulated ie) Pneumatic vents vs. Fugitive leaks 3) Capital constraints 4) Detection & Measurement capabilities of the technology.

This session will speak to the process of emission root cause analysis when responding to the output of methane detection & measurement technologies and will be based on the work completed in Western Canada on behalf of Oil & Gas Producers & Academic / Gov't Funded research studies.
