Speaker Bio
I lead the Robotic Inspection Solutions business for Team Industrial Services and Quest Integrity. Our team operates sophisticated remote visual inspection (RVI), uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and 3D laser scanning equipment to reduce risk and drive value for our industrial clientele including; Fossil Power Generation, Nuclear Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical/Process, and Manufacturing.
Our team focuses on technology deployment to reduce confined space entry (CSE), working at heights, and a myriad of other at-risk man hours, while driving turnaround efficiency and delivering detailed digital reporting.
My career began in the US Navy where I served as a Machinist Mate; maintaining, operating, inspecting and repairing shipboard cryogenic and power plant systems. Following my enlistment, I began inspecting power generation and petrochem assets utilizing robotic camera technology. I am fortunate to have worked with tremendous leadership over the years at technology forward organizations including Visual Inspection Technologies, EverestVIT, GE Inspection Technologies and Envirosight.
I followed a very untraditional academic career path, attending five different universities on nights/weekends and during deployments throughout my naval career, before finally finishing my undergrad at Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2012, I completed the Executive MBA program at Bellarmine University, Rubel School of Business.
Outside of Team Inc, I sit on the Advisory Board for ASME Robotics for Inspection & Maintenance, serve as Vice Chair- ASME Crawlers for Inspection and Member- ASME Mobile Unmanned Systems.
