Ed De Reyes is the Chairman and CEO of Sabrewing Aircraft Company, Inc. He is a retired Air Force veteran, an experienced test pilot and engineer, and a serial entrepreneur. Ed’s experience with uncrewed aircraft going back to 1992, and his experience as an FAA Part 135 air cargo operator have culminated in the founding of Sabrewing Aircraft Company along with co-founder Oliver Garrow. Together, Ed and Oliver and their team have designed, built and are testing the world’s first heavy lift uncrewed (cargo) air vehicle (UAV) whose very first flight broke the world’s record for the heaviest payload ever lifted by a commercial UAV. Sabrewing to date has over $1 billion in firm orders for both of its cargo aircraft.
