With more than a decade of experience in secondary education, my journey reflects a steadfast commitment to nurturing student growth and achievement. Through a range of roles and leadership opportunities, I've strived to go above and beyond in shaping educational experiences.
My path began as an After School Program Site Director at Aldine Independent School District. I meticulously orchestrated after-school programs to ensure students benefited from effective educational experiences. I didn't just lead in the classroom; I guided staff and after-school programming, making strategic decisions that upheld a commitment to educational excellence.
My passion for technology education found its outlet as a Career and Technology Education Instructor. Here, I evaluated student performance and equipped them with vital technology and career skills. By blending lectures, discussions, project-based hands-on activities, I aimed to provide knowledge that would guide their future endeavors.
In the role of a Drones & Robotics/College and Career Readiness educator at Houston Independent School District, I adeptly delivered STEM-oriented instruction via Project-Based Learning. My knowledge in VEX Robotics, LEGO EV-3 Mindstorms, Drones and coding/ programming went beyond the conventional, inspiring students in innovative ways. Setting drone standards and nurturing holistic growth through after-school activities became hallmarks of my dedication to student learning.
Currently, my role as a Career and Technology Educational Instructor of Digital Media is where my passion for digital and audio media technology and creativity converge.
